The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Below we inform you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about the processing of personal data when visiting this website.

A data protection officer has not been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so.
2. General information on data processing
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. We only process personal data insofar as this is necessary to provide a functioning website or to handle your enquiries. This website uses no cookies, no analysis or tracking services and no social-media plug-ins.
3. Server log files (hosting)
When our website is accessed, the server of our hosting provider automatically collects data in so-called server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version used, operating system, referrer URL, sub-pages accessed, date and time of access, IP address and internet service provider.
These data cannot be assigned to specific persons and are not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation and the security of our website (including defence against attacks). The log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for these purposes.
Our website is hosted by an external service provider that processes the aforementioned data on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists with this provider. Provider: STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany.
4. Contact by e-mail or telephone
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of the enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as the enquiry is related to the initiation or performance of a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial and tax law) prevent this.
Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. in the case of unencrypted e-mail communication) may have security gaps. You are free to transmit personal data to us by alternative means, for example by telephone or post.
5. Disclosure of data
Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so, disclosure is necessary for the performance of a contract, or you have expressly consented in advance. No transfer to third countries takes place.
6. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as statutory retention periods require. After expiry, the data are routinely deleted.
7. Your rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights:
- Access to your processed data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”, Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
An informal notification to the contact details given above is sufficient to exercise your rights.
8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
9. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Insofar as we process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
10. No automated decision-making
Automated decision-making including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR) does not take place.
11. Currency of this privacy policy
